Alan Featherby, Chief Executive

  • Over 25 years experience in the hotel industry
  • General Manager of the Four Seasons Group in Australia
  • Chief Operating Officer of Radisson Hotels in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Malaysia
  • Hotel experience includes responsibility for 50 hotels within the region including China, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, of which almost half were new openings

Darko Novakovic, Chief Operating Officer

  • Over 25 years experience in the hotel industry in Australia and Asia
  • Managed large international hotels including Rendezvous Observation City Hotel Perth, Radisson President Hotel Melbourne and Radisson Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur
  • Has been COO of Rendezvous for nine years
Michael Meade, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing 
  • Previously held a similar role in Shanghai with Jin Jiang Hotels, China's largest hotel company, with over 310 hotels and inns 
  • Prior to this, Michael was Regional Director of Marketing - Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific for InterContinental Hotel Group, where he was responsible for the sales and marketing function for over 45 hotels across 5 brands 
  • Has a proven track record with multinational companies and individual hotel operations 

Tony Balch, Senior Vice President Development

  • Over 25 years of hotel development experience gained in companies such as Intercontinental, Hilton, Thistle, All Seasons and Tourism Hotels and Leisure Limited
  • Has worked in the UK, Europe, USA, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia
  • Has also worked for various hotel owners as a consultant for Coopers & Lybrand, Arthur Andersen and Brookes Laughton

Patrick Sheehan, Senior Vice President Operations - Australia & New Zealand

  • Patrick has worked with Rendezvous since February 2005
  • He has more than 25 years experience in management consulting, operational management and human resource management across seven industries
  • Prior to his current role, Patrick was Senior Vice President Human Resources for Rendezvous
  • Previously, Patrick has held senior executive roles with Voyages Hotels & Resorts,
    Rexel, Newton Consulting Group and John Clements Group and has worked
    throughout, the Pacific Islands and Asia.

John Thng, Vice President Development

  • John was previously General Manager for Hotel New Otani in Singapore.
  • Prior to that, he was Director of Sales & Marketing and Purchasing Manager for the same hotel.
  • John has also worked as Administrative & Purchasing Manager for Hafar Marine and Purchasing Manager for Asia Pacific Shipyard and Sanyo Electronics.

Patrick Tung, Group Manager Development and Operations Support

  • Patrick joined Rendezvous Hotels & Resorts International in 2003 and since then he has developed four hotels in China for Rendezvous.
  • Patrick Tung has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry in mainland China that include property transaction, evaluation, management consulting and business development.
  • Prior to joining Rendezvous, Patrick used to work for Shanghai state-owned Assets Operating Company Limited and Dreamham Consulting Company Limited.

Susan Toby, Vice President Human Resources

  • Susan has a strong Organisation Development background and diverse experience  working with industries that include Education, Tourism, Energy, State/Local Government and IT.
  • She also has a degree in Education, an MBA and is currently completing her Masters of Human Resources and Industrial Relations.

Youngmi Kwon, Vice President Finance

  • Youngmi has previously held Corporate Finance roles in Mirvac, Toga and Constellation.
  • She has also held Financial Controller positions in various hotels.
  • She graduated from University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce and is a qualified CPA.

Chitra Randhawa, Vice President Leisure Sales

  • Previously Director of Sales and Marketing and Senior Sales Manager International and Travel Agency for Bintan Lagoon Resort and The Grace Hotel, Sydney.
  • Chitra was also Director of Product for Cunard Cruises (Queen Elizabeth 2, Coronia and Queen Mary 2), launching Queen Mary 2 in Asia Pacific and laying ground work for Queen Victoria.

Craig Gosling, Vice President Corporate Sales

  • Craig has previously held Senior Sales Management positions in Mirvac, both at a group and hotel level.
  • Prior to that, Craig was Account Manager Consortia / Inbound for Constellation Hotel Group and Business Development Manager for Stamford Hotels and Resorts.
  • Craig has also held similar Sales Management positions for National World Travel and Harvey World Travel

Kerry Reynolds, Vice President Relationship Marketing

  • Kerry has held Director of Sales and Marketing positions in Sofitel Brisbane, Accor Hotels Brisbane and Sea World Resort.
  • Kerry was also Marketing Manager Resorts Division Accor Hotels and Resorts, Marketing Consultant - KDR Management - Hotels Sales and Marketing and Area Sales and Marketing - All Seasons Hotels
